Farzaneh Mirzazadeh
Research Scientist
Farzaneh is a Research Scientist in the MERS group. Her expertise is in machine learning, spanning predictive modeling, multimodal embeddings, and representation learning. She holds a PhD in machine learning and has worked in the field for about a decade, with publications in venues such as NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, and AAAI.
Her research centers on co-embedding: solving machine learning problems by jointly embedding entities into a common space and imposing structure there. She has worked on embeddings into Euclidean and Wasserstein spaces, as well as logic and constraint embeddings. She has also worked on generative models, including GANs, normalizing flows, and large language models.
